Information we collect

If you send a project inquiry, the form collects the information you provide:

• Your name and email address.
• Your project category, timing, and any website address you choose to provide.
• The message and other details you choose to include.

The page may also include a service selection in its web address so the form can be tailored to your inquiry. Please do not include passwords, payment details, or sensitive personal information in the message.

When you visit the site, hosting and security services may process technical information needed to deliver and protect it, such as your IP address, browser or device information, and request details.

How we use information

Inquiry details are used to understand and respond to your request, communicate with you about a possible project, and send a confirmation email after you submit the form. Technical information may be used to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and prevent abuse of the site.

The inquiry form is not a mailing-list signup. We do not use the contact details and project message you submit to send unrelated marketing emails.

When information is handled by service providers

To operate the website and respond to inquiries, limited technical information and the details you submit may be handled by service providers for website hosting, form processing, email delivery, and content delivery. These providers process information to provide those services.

We do not sell the name, email address, or project message submitted through the inquiry form.

If a booking link is available, it may take you to an external scheduling service. Information you enter there is handled under that service’s own privacy notice.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site does not currently use analytics or advertising tags. It uses local storage to remember your selected visual theme. You can clear this preference through your browser settings.

Retention and security

If an inquiry does not become a project, inquiry messages are kept for up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact, then deleted from records we control. If an inquiry becomes a project, relevant records may be kept as needed to provide the work and maintain business records. Information may be kept longer where needed to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes. Technical logs are kept according to the retention practices of the hosting and other providers.

Reasonable steps are taken to protect information handled through the site. No website or electronic transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain uses. Some laws also provide rights relating to data portability, consent, or targeted advertising.

To make a request, email contact@nancygan.dev with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity and will respond as required by applicable law.

International visitors

The site and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live.
